Is financing available for making a purchase? Not available at this time.
How do I know when I need a new mattress? Mattresses aren't like an appliance -- they don't just quit working one day. They give out gradually, almost imperceptibly, until over time you begin to notice the signs – you’re waking up sore in the back, neck or joints, and you’re not sleeping as well as you did when you first purchased the mattress. Any
of these signs indicate that you may need a new mattress soon. Although
you might have become somewhat used to the old
“not-so-perfect” mattress, you'll certainly notice the
improvement when you sleep on a new one! You’ll have better
support, enhanced comfort, and a deeper, more restful sleep.
How do I test a mattress effectively? First, wear comfortable clothing, because lying down and trying out a mattress is very important in the shopping process. Feel free to take off your coat and shoes to be as comfortable as possible. Secondly, if you have a spouse, come in to try out mattresses together. When
you first try out the bed, lay on your back. Is it comfortable? Do you
feel supported? Next, get into your normal sleep position. Do you still
feel comfortable? Do you (and your spouse) have enough room? Spend a
few minutes on the mattress. Give time for your body time to adjust to the
mattress, and for the mattress to conform to you.
What do I look for when buying a new mattress? First, look for something that feels good to you. That may mean firm, plush or something in the middle, but the important thing is to find something that feel comfortable. Secondly, look for something that supports you well. There are different types of support, so try several kinds and find the one that meets your needs. Next, look for something that’s durable. Mattresses can be expensive purchases, so look for something with strong, durable materials that will be supportive and comfortable for years to come. You should also consider the size of the mattress. If you have a spouse, think about how much comfortable sleeping room you need. The amount of sleeping space affects the quality of your sleep, so consider either a queen or king size mattress to make sure you have enough room. You spend one third of your life sleeping, and it affects every other part of your day. When considering the price of the mattress, remember that purchasing a bed is an investment. Of course that investment doesn’t have to be large, but it should be something that you will be comfortable sleeping on.
Do I need a new box spring with my mattress? It is recommended that you purchase a new box spring with your new mattress. It may seem like a savings to purchase a new mattress and place it on an existing box spring… but that’s actually not the case in the long run. Eventually, your mattress will break down prematurely if it’s not placed on the support that was designed for it. At
Mattress Mill, we have found that the mattress and box spring age
together. Consider this: a brand new mattress will last longer on a new
box spring, because an old box spring offers inadequate support, making
the mattress work harder. In other words, buying a complete set now
– new mattress and box spring – will be a good
investment for the long term by saving you the trouble of buying another mattress prematurely.
What is the Mattress Mill Warranty? Mattress Mill has a ten-year non-prorated warranty on mattresses. This warranty covers the craftsmanship and materials of our beds. Because of the impact that the box spring has on a mattress, we only place a one-year warranty on mattresses sitting on a used box spring.
What happens if I don't like the mattress? Sometimes it is difficult to choose the right mattress on the showroom floor, so if you are having difficulty sleeping on your mattress, give us a call – we can find a solution to help you. Our Satisfaction Guarantee on the products that we build is one year long, allowing you the optimal amount of time to find out what is right for you. Within the one year period, you have the option to make two free foam or spring changes or switch to a completely different mattress. All you pay for is the difference between what you paid originally and the new cost if your change happens to be an upgrade! If you purchased a Restonic mattress set from us, there is a 30 day satisfaction guarantee in place that will allow for an exchange. *Note that satisfaction guarantee changes may not be used to change the size of the set that you purchased.
